Where can I park?

Drop off zone: Right outside the station, there is a 2 minute drop off zone. This is approximately 50m from the studio
Best parking: The station parking immediately behind the studio generally has free all-day parking available on all afternoons (and to an extent on weekends). This is also a good area to wait and meet up with students for pick ups.
Alternative Parking: There are other parking areas nearby on and around the map, including Oakleigh Central parking lot, which is free for the first 2 hours.
Driving on Portman St: Portman St is a one-way street that tends to have traffic in the early afternoon and on weekends. We fund that avoiding it at these times can save you a lot of time driving around.

What can I do around the dance studio?

Grab a snack: The studio is right across from Oakleigh’s eaton mall which has a huge variety of food destinations. From Vanilla, Meat Me and Chatime, the choices are endless!
Shopping: With Oakleigh’s shopping centre just around a corner, you can easily do your weekly shop whilst you child dances. If you would like a little retail shopping, Chadstone is less than a 10 minute drive away

Can parents stay and watch dance classes?

Our students get much more out of their classes when their parents aren’t in the room and they are able to focus on their teacher and the lesson. Of course if students are feeling shy or anxious, parents are welcome to stay in the studio for the first couple of classes. We have a designated waiting area for parents to sit, relax and have a cup of coffee while their children are dancing.
